The hottest release of 2022… at least so far

It may still only be January, but one of the hottest releases of 2022 has already dropped. The Air Jordan 4 ‘Thunder’ is a hugely hyped sneaker, and you can cop yours now here at The Sole Scene.

This brand new colourway boasts some familiar Jordan 4 features including a black nubuck upper, but rather than the bright and bold detailing that has been present on some other recent Jordan 4 Retro’s, this latest pair boasts deep red detailing instead, and it is one of our favourites!

A week on from the much-anticipated release, the excitement surrounding these sneakers is showing no signs of fading, but the popularity of these treads has come as no surprise given that so many J4 releases have proven to be fan favourites. The Jordan 4 Thunder is certainly in great company, having followed on from many classic J4’s and we think demand for this latest variant will remain very high for a long time yet! Let’s take a look at three other particularly memorable variations of the J4 range released in recent years, all of which are available here at The Sole Scene!

Jordan 4 White Oreo

Released in July 2021, this eagerly awaited drop certainly didn’t disappoint Jordan fans as this particular offering proved to be one of the hottest of the year. Paying tribute to the Jordan 4 ‘White Cement’ with its clean white colourway, these J4’s certainly have a fresh look about them. Boasting many of the classic J4 features we know and love such as the grid mesh netting, oversized heel tab, air unit on the heel and of course the Jumpman logo on the tongue, this time in ‘Fire Red’ to provide contrast, it is little wonder why they have proven so popular. These are a must cop for any Jordan lover and they’re available here at The Sole Scene.

Jordan 4 Shimmer

Another 2021 release, the J4 Shimmer dropped in September last year and quickly became a popular choice with guys and girls alike, with demand for these sneakers remaining extremely high. Dressed in a neutral colourway of creamy and tan hues, and premium quality materials used throughout, this J4 variant features the iconic netting around the laces and transparent triangular ankle flaps. It’s easy to see why this silhouette is a fan favourite. Other classic features include the Jumpman logo on tongue, this time dressed is silver, as well as the exposed Nike Air unit in the midsole. If you’re looking for a pair of J4’s with plenty of individual features whilst also following the classic design traits, the Shimmer is a great choice, and you can cop yours here.

When Paris Saint-Germain F.C. and Nike reunited in 2020 to release one of the hottest Jordan 4’s ever, sneakerheads everywhere were desperate to cop a pair and they have been particularly hard to get hold of since, but the good news is, The Sole Scene has you covered! Although this was the first and only time the giant French Football Club worked on this particular Air Jordan Brand silhouette, many consider these sneakers to be the best collaboration yet.

Although PSG are known for their black, blue and red colour scheme, these sneakers stray away from the club’s traditional colours, and instead are dressed in a fresh and clean white upper which is complimented by the contrasting bold Bordeaux accents. Featuring the classic Jumpman logo, the PSG logo is also present and sits on the heel tab so there is no mistaking these Jordan’s are special collaboration with the world-famous football club. A J4 variant like no other, it is little wonder why this silhouette is on so many sneakerhead’s wish list and you can cop yours here.
